Long Beach Friends Church partners with Inner City Ministries to reach out to the inner city community in Long Beach through free community meals and bible studies. Fred Newkirk of Inner City Ministries is the leader and pastor of this effort. Several other churches are also vitally involved in this effort, providing meals, Bibles, volunteer workers, and many other forms of support.
